"Take if you need. Leave what you can."
Sadly, food insecurity is on the rise for more and more people. One thing we can do is sharing at least some of the basics with those in need through the Community Pantry on the left (West) side of the church.

Safe alternatives during WINTER:

Safe alternatives during WINTER:
- DRY GOODS. Items that are not affected by freezing temperatures are ideal. Some examples: rice, pasta, cereals, granola bars.
- SHELF-STABLE ITEMS. Non-perishable foods that do not rely on refrigeration. Some examples: canned tuna or beans, peanut butter, crackers and canned goods (excluding those with high water content).
- Items in STURDY, WELL-SEALED CONTAINERS. Select foods that are not easily damaged by freezing, stored in air-tight, moisture-resistant packaging.
- NON-FOOD items: toiletries, pet food, cleaning supplies, outerwear.

As a community of faith we care as much about the soul as the body. One way of doing that is through prayer. If you have a prayer you'd like to be included in our worship services, please feel free to drop a prayer request into the white mail box.
You can pray for yourself and for others, for this community, for our environment, for the world and its many struggles.
You are free to be specific and include names and/or places in your request. Please be assured that we do respect your privacy and that names will not be shared or publicly shared.
If this is an urgent situation you are also free to reach out to our Minister for a private conversation.
