Front of Sanctuary Project
Recently the congregation voted to change the feel and functionality of the front of the sanctuary. Although still lovely to look at and for some filled with special memories, it is no longer safe, accessible or practical for present-day building codes and expectations. The goal is that by the end of 2025 the front will be opened up, and safe and accessible for everyone. It will also create a more intimate feel without railings, a locked-in pulpit and narrow steps separating the choir and clergy from the congregation.
With an estimated cost of $28,350 this project will not be cheap. We therefore committed to only move forward with this project when 2/3 of the funds - or $18,900 - has been pledged by September 15, 2025. If you think this is something you can support, then please consider making a donation toward this project before September 15, 2025.
For more information on this exciting project, please view the brief slideshow below. And should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the church or Rev. Alex for a quick response. Thank you so much!
