Perotte Request for Proposal (RFP),
dated July 21, 2026
This is a request for proposal from qualified bidders for the removal, or demolition, of the structure known as Perotte United Church, located at 2301 Perotte Road in Annapolis County. The proposal will include remediation of the site to natural grade.
The church is approximately 23 feet wide, 33 feet long, and 20 feet high at the peak. It was built in 1899, and is covered with a steel roof.
The winning bid will provide, in addition to removal and remediation, an appropriate cairn to mark the site of the church, to commemorate the life of the congregation that met there through the years it was an active meeting place.
Include in your bid the amount you are willing to pay/bid for the structure.
Write a brief explanation about your planned process to deal with the removal of this structure.
Please indicate your expected date of completion for this project.
There may be an opportunity to purchase the building ‘in place’. This would require a variance requiring county approval, which would be the responsibility of the bidder to facilitate.
If you require any additional information, or want to inspect the building, please send an email expressing your interest to [email protected] .
The trustees of St George and St Andrew will choose the bid that best meets their needs.
