Throughout the year our church choir leads the congregation in singing up to five hymns in a service. Most Sundays, except in the summer, they also sing an anthem — a specially rehearsed piece of music that they sing on their own before the sermon. They also provide special music for Christmas and Easter and occasionally for special events.
If you would like to join the church choir (usually 20+ singers) you will be expected to show up for regular rehearsals, and early on Sunday mornings before our church service. It also helps if you are able to read music.
The choir begins working on new music in September and in January, and, practically speaking, those are the two months of the year when it is best to join. If you are interested in doing so, please contact our choir director.
